Today friends; a very special BEARTH-Podcast.
This conversation was recorded 4-years ago, in Phoenix, AZ, with my Grandfather, Vic Bollinger. He died this past week. It was time.
Though he's gone, the best of him is with me. I can't think of another way to honor this space. I'm glad I turned on the recorder,...just a few months before Mosul would begin, and got him to share a few of my favorite stories, and there were too many to county. He struggled w/ signs of dementia in the following months and years since.
But he connected me to the Grandmother as an adult, yes, the one I've spoken about often, before, after she passed 20 years ago. For those in the #Christian world, you'll find this particularly interesting as he talks about he & my grandmother's rebellion in the Catholic Renewal of the 70s.
Listen in and honor him with me.

And they don't sugar coat, they confront it and it's creating a beautiful ripple effect. Do listen in on our conversation and join our short meditation at the end.
